John Travolta’s son Jett passed away in the Bahamas today following a seizure. He allegedly had a history of medical problems.
John Travolta’s 16-year-old son, Jett, died Friday in the Bahamas. The family’s attorney, Michael Ossi, said that Jett died from a seizure while the family was vacationing on Grand Bahama Island.

Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest child of Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston. They also have a daughter, Ella Blue, who was born in 2000,” according to Reuters.

TMZ cites reports indicating that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has contended that his son had Kawasaki syndrome, a condition often associated with heart disease.

In a 2002 interview with USA Today, Preston said that her son was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease eight years earlier after he became “very, very sick with high fever and swollen glands and peeling fingers and rash all over his body.”
