Colon Cancer

An estimated 150,000 people will be diagnosed with cancers of the colon or rectum this year, according to the American Cancer Society (ACS). Though the cancers will claim nearly 50,000 lives in the United States in 2008, more people are surviving their battles. The ACS says colorectal cancer death rates have been falling steadily for the last 15 years.
