One thing is certain: if you want employers to find great material about you when they search, you have to make sure it’s available. If you’re concerned about invisibility, it’s time to design your own Web page. On it, list who you are, what you’re interested in and what some of your greater achievements are. (Extra-long keg stands not included.) Try buying yourname.com at a site like Register.com
and designing a page for yourself. Or, if you’re less familiar with Web design and can’t afford a designer, explore a new service from Google, Google Pages, which allows you publish pages via your gmail account using Google software. No knowledge of HTML is required.
