The tension instilled in devoted “Lost” viewers by the show’s notorious cliffhangers and overcomplicated plot lines was exacerbated by that pesky writers’ strike this season, and now, to make matters worse, the three-hour finale for season 4 has been drawn out over two weeks. But the waiting ends tonight, Thursday, May 29.
According to an April Entertainment Online report, “word is there are so many big reveals the producers wanted to deliver this season that they felt anything less than a full three-hour finale would have cheated the fans.” Now, you’ll finally discover what was in that 80 page draft the writers prepared for the finale. Expect intensity, as always.

The Los Angeles Times blog Show Tracker covers all the (overwhelming) details of the finale’s first third, broadcast on May 15, and all the questions it raised. The most unnerving of these is certainly, “What the heck is Ben doing with those saltines?” The good news is, the wait is almost over. Yum.

Since the day it aired, “Lost” has attracted a feverishly devoted band of followers. Viewers tend to rush home on Thursday with a level of speed and urgency that makes you wonder if they’re trying to save their mother from a fire or just figure out why the freighter is anchored off the Island. Jezebel is concerned that some “Lost” fans may actually be in an abusive relationship with the show.

If “Lost” was really your boyfriend, you’d have to waste countless hours entering his name into various search engines and hacking your way into his email. Luckily, the Internet has anticipated your obsessive behavior and made stalking the T.V. show so easy, that you won’t even feel like a creep when you do it. While we don’t recommend that you get your facts from Wikipedia, we direct you with confidence to Lostpedia, the wiki of everything having to do with “Lost.” In addition to defining essential terms, the site hosts several conversations about theories and episodes, as well as aggregating news and offering a blog.

But “Lost” viewers know that things are rarely as they seem. We’d like to vouch for the credibility of Lostpedia, but just to make sure you’ve got your bases covered, visit the Dark UFO Forum. Dark UFO is part blog, part fan site and part discussion board. The site is broken down into multiple sections that include mysteries, spoilers and even fan fiction.
